As a general rule cheap means that you will receive a dirty, badly maintained, unsafe bouncy castle.  There won't be any real safety precautions adhered to and corners will have been cut with regard to insuring the inflatables and HSE recognised inspections.  They may use poor quality cables or equipment that isn't PATS tested which is therefore a fire risk.  That is assuming that your cheap company turn up at all. You wouldn't believe how many times we get enquiries saying "can we please supply a bouncy castle as they've been let down"? If we can help we often do and give them the price, to which the customer will reply "but I' was only paying £30 for the other bouncy castle"!  As much as we want to be understanding, we do have to ask the question - is £30 cheap if they don't bother to show up?

Being cheap, the company involved simply doesn't have the financial wherewithal to keep on top of the required safety aspects.
